民族平等

堅持民族平等是中國共產(chǎn)黨和政府在民族問題上的原則立場和根本政策。在中華人民共和國境內(nèi)，各民族，不論人口多少、歷史長短、發(fā)展程度高低，在社會生活的各個方面一律平等，不允許對任何民族進行歧視和壓迫；不論是聚居還是散雜居的各民族，均以平等的地位參與國家事務(wù)和地方事務(wù)。

Ethnic Equality

Ethnic equality is a core principle followed by the CPC and the Chinese government when handling ethnic relations. Irrespective of their size, history or levels of development, all ethnic groups in China are equal in every aspect of life. No discrimination or oppression against any group can be tolerated. They have the right to equal participation in national and local affairs, regardless of whether their populations are concentrated or dispersed.
